I study behavioural public policy and Canadian politics. I focus on improving access to public services, especially employment programs. Why do Canadians who might benefit from these services not apply for them? What can governments do to improve take-up? I address these questions using quantitative methods (e.g. experiments, web-scraping, Machine Learning) and user experience design (e.g. interviews, community co-design).
